Winery Khareba supports cultivation and development of unique grape varieties, such as Otskhanuri Sapere, Tsitska, Tsolikouri, Krakhuna, Ojaleshi, Aladasturi, Usakhelouri, Khikhvi and Kisi. Besides unique verities’ cultivation, one of the main purposes of the company is growing and caring of Georgian ancient grape varieties.

The company vineyards cover up to 7 appellations of origin, 25 grape varieties and produces more than 50 types of wines.

WINE CELLAR IN WESTERN GEORGIA, IMERETI REGION

Winery Khareba modernized Terjola wine cellar in Imereti region and equipped it with modern technology including stainless steel tanks, where company’s premium sparkling wines are produced. The company owns 900 square metre-s wine aging cellar with suitable temperature for wine equipped with best French oak barrels. The most distinguished varieties of western Georgian wines are: Tsitska, which is mostly used for production of sparkling wines by application of classic methods; Krakhuna, Tsolikouri, Otskhanuri Sapere, Aladasturi and Usakhelouri. 8000 years old winemaking method and innovative achievements of the 21st century is combined in Terjola winery. It is place where more than 40 types of wines are being produced each year using more than 20 different indigenous grape varieties.

WINE CELLAR IN EASTERN GEORGIA, KAKHETI REGION

Nowadays, winemaking process is carried out by application of modern technologies. As mentioned before, whole Kakheti region is very rich with fertile soil that is one of the main conditions for successful viticulture and winemaking. The soil of this region guarantees the best quality for indigenous grapes such as Rkatsiteli, Khikhvi, Saferavi, Kisi and others. Bottled wines of Winery Khareba are stored in wine tunnel, the length of which is 7.7 km; the cave consists of two main and 13 connecting tunnels. One of two entrances to the cave is used for tourism, while the other entrances are used for the care and aging of wines stored in metal and oak containers. In this part, the guest can see the bottled wine cellar, where "Winery Khareba" holds up to 27,000 bottles of the best quality wine. The natural temperature in cave is about 14-16° C all over the year. The oldest collectible wine is 19 years old.
